Instructions

1. Setting the temperature.

Temperature range: 6-28 °C.

Temperatures will be as follows:

For example, if you wish to set the temperature to 20 °C, choose number 3 and the thermostatic valve will close or open automatically in order to keep the temperature around 20 °C +/- 1 °C. For higher temperatures, turn to 4 or 5 and for lower ones turn to 1 or 2.

2. Use of “ * “ Mark:

When going out, you can set the valve to “ * “ and it should keep the room at a certain temperature and avoid frost (anti-freeze function).

3. Keep the shell of the thermostatic valve clean and ventilated. Do not use alcohol or bleach to clean it.

4. If the equipment is actually insulated, a bypass pipe must be arranged, or a bypass valve should be placed in the area of the supply and return pipes.

5. The piping to be connected cannot put pressure on the valve body.

When installed, the thermostatic head regulator must be set to maximum. This will ensure the normal operation of the device. Before installation, the water or other heating medium in the circuit must be turned off and then drained. Its position must be parallel to the ground. This location is guaranteed not to be affected by heating.

Assembly sequence of the device

When installing, the pipe should be cut first, and it should be carried out at a certain distance from the radiator. The next step is to remove the existing shut-off valve. Next, separate the stem from the valve and screw it into the radiator plug. Install the pipes by pre-assembly, and connect the pipes. All that's left is to adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob until the grooves in the case correspond with the markings for the set temperature.

Avoid over-tightening the thermostat's nuts as their material is quite soft. It is best to use a torque wrench.

It is important that the arrows on the body point in the direction of hot water flow in the system. Otherwise, the work will be wasted and nothing will succeed. The thermostatic head can be installed on both sides of the water inlet and outlet.

Don't disregard the manufacturer's recommendation for the height at which the device is mounted, as it is calibrated to the temperature at that height. Generally speaking, it is 0.4-0.6 meters from the ground.

But not all batteries get water from the top, they also come from the bottom. If there is no suitable sample at altitude, the solution is to set the thermostat to a lower temperature.

Since it's cooler on the floor and the device is set to the temperature it should be on top of the battery, the room will be hot. To avoid this, a thermostatic head with a remote sensor can be installed. You can also choose to set the regulator yourself.

In order for the device to work properly, a preset is required. Set the thermometer at a certain point, then adjust:

Turn the thermostat head to the left until it stops so that the flow of heating medium is fully open.

Wait for the temperature to rise 5-6° from the initial value.

Rotate the handpiece fully to the right.

When the temperature drops to the desired value, gradually unscrew the valve. If the heatsink is noisy and the case gets hot, stop.

The last position of the thermostat head corresponds to the comfort temperature. This is the temperature that will be maintained.

Notes on Installation

The valve should be placed at the entrance of water into the radiator. In order for the thermostatic valve to function properly, please make sure it is not covered or blocked by curtains or furniture.
